Q: Why shouldn't I just paint my fence or deck?
A:
This is the number one misconception homeowners have. Painting a fence or deck is the worst thing you could do. Painting has virtually no protective properties, has to be applied very regularly, and is very expensive and time consuming.

Q: Why shouldn't I power wash my fence or deck?
A:
This is another big misconception. Yes, power washing does do the job of cleaning the wood, but it also takes many years of life off of the wood each time it is done by severely deteriorating the wood surface.

Q: How long will the color of the stain last on my wood fence or deck?
A:
Depending on the weather, the stain color and properties will last anywhere from 5-10 years on your wood fence or deck.

A:
It will take an average of 2-3 hours to clean and stain your fence.

Q: How much does it cost to stain my wood fence or deck?
A:
We charge .25 cents per square foot of new fence, which includes labor and materials. We charge .32 cents per square foot to stain an old fence which needs to be cleaned first then stained. Finally, we charge .85 cents per square foot of deck to be stained.
